Type Of Grout Seals

1. PASSIVE GROUT SEAL

SINGLE GROUT SEALS

Hitech grout Seals provide reliable and robust sealing between the inner diameter of the jacket/skirt and the outer diameter of the pile. Grout Seals are the very effective mechanical seal that requires no work and is self-sealing. The grout seal can also help in re-aligning of concentric piles and act as a mud wiper which can remove unwanted debris from the surface of the pile.
Passive grout seals can seal the grout that is filled between the pile and the jacket skirt which significantly reduces the losses of grout due to leakage and helps in generating a strong and secure bond.

DOUBLE/TRIPLE GROUT SEALS

Offshore operations are very dangerous and often have multiple contingencies taking into account the risky and remote operation. hence Hitehc grout seals can come in dual or even triple seal configurations to ensure the sealing performance. with very little cost implication but double the safety of such important operations often grout seals are suplied in double or triple configurations.

2. LIP SEAL

Hitech lip seals are the mechanical self-acting sealing solution for generating a positive seal between the jacket ID and pile OD. They are also often used as mud wipers to clean the pile free from any unwanted debris. Lip seals can be manufactured in larger diameters such as 5.5 meters dia as they are often used in offshore monopiles and large jackets or tripod jackets.
Hitech lip seals can overcome minor errors in the roundness of the piles. The lip seals can be directly welded to the jacket ID or can be supplied with the seal.
